Strategic Design in Leadership
This course is designed to help leaders understand the power of strategic design principles and how they can be applied in their daily work, strategic decision-making, and organizational culture. Throughout the course, participants will learn how to identify and analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions through a strategic design lens. They will also gain insight into how to integrate strategic design thinking into their organization's culture and processes, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity. The course introduces the Five Mindsets Strategic Design Thinking framework and we build a plan for how to introduce design thinking in the participant's own organisational cultures.
Participants will be introduced to various tools and techniques used in strategic design, such as design thinking, human-centered design, and systems thinking. They will learn how to apply these principles to develop and implement strategies that are grounded in customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
The course will also explore how strategic design can be used to create more inclusive and sustainable organizations. Leaders will gain an understanding of how to use design principles to drive positive social and environmental impact while still achieving business goals.
By the end of this course, participants will have a deep understanding of strategic design principles and how they can be applied in their organizations. They will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation, foster creativity, and develop strategies that drive sustainable growth and positive impact.
